Re: TEMPORARY tablespace problem -- newbie problems

Summary:
"I use up all temp space to the point of filling up all the disk"

Is the tablespace defined TEMPORARY? (dba_tablespaces.contents)

Is the sql horrible? Rewrite SQL to not use sorts (orderby groupby..)

                       or any number of other things that do not result
                       in a googlplex result set.

Do you have indexes defined?

Are your expectations unreal? ( disk space is 5 MB for temp, now it is full)
