Hi Friends,
I want your help. My name is Prashant and currently working as Oracle 7.3 DBA. the platform is Windows NT 4.0. and Unix.

Following is my problem.

Our Oracle Database running on NT take longer to connect to and are not able to service as many simultaneous connections as teh Unix Servers. We have swapped an Nt server with a Unix server. I am trying to find out if this is just a known nuasance of oracle running on NT or if there is any setting we have to make.

I requet you to advise me on this matter. I am sure you will help me as usual.

Thanks for reading thsi mail.

waiting for your suggestion.

Thanks

Prashant Shindgikar
